Your Egyptian Newspaper

REQUIREMENTS

A.There must be six articles in your newspaper.You must cover the following topics in your six articles.

  1. Geography
  2. Class Structure
  3. a god or goddess
  4. Science or Technology
  5. Proportional drawing (math)
  6. Daily Life
  7. History
  8. Sports or game

B.There must be a picture for each article.No photos or computer generated images.

C.There must be hieroglyphics, borders, or Egyptian symbols (ankh,scarab,etc.) presented somewhere in the paper.

D.Give the paper a name

SUGGESTIONS

1. Imitate the format of your local newspaper.

2. Use only one side of the sheet of paper.

3. Use the posters on the wall, your notes,books in the classroom,and the library as your resources.

4. Cooperate with your group members to get articles or ideas for your paper. You are encouraged to help each other.

GRADING

1. Each group will be graded, and a group grade will be given.

2. Each individual will be required to submit two articles and two pictures.

3. Newspapers are due December 16, 1998
