sveflogo1.jpgSVEF Supporting Your Children from Kindergarten through Graduation!

Did you know that Scotts Valley Education Foundation is the only non-profit that supports Scotts Valley kids from the day they start school, up until the day they graduate?  SVEF currently pays to keep the school libraries open, provides GLAD training for teachers and school counselors for our kids. That's why it is so important to support SVEF through donations or volunteering.

Cold & Flu Season

washhands.jpgThe flu is especially bad this year. Please see this LINK for some important information.

The cold/flu season is upon us, and we are already experiencing an increase in absences and students being sent home sick. Please look over the ATTACHED document, it is a new/updated reminder on how to prevent spread of illness, and guidelines for when to keep children home from school.

Wishing you all a healthy cold/flu season!  ~

SVMS Site Council

Parents, Teachers, Community Members and Students-

The SVMS Site Council is proud to deliver the results of the 2013-2014 school year survey. The Council wants to thank all that participated and congratulate Seabright Academy for such a fantastic job with 100% OF PARENTS completing the survey. A few of the key points we would like to showcase are that the students continue to find both a challenging and supportive atmosphere at school, and that they are most engaged by both the athletics and dances at SVMS. The online tools THAT are available continue to be utilized by most students and there is still high use of the Binder Reminder.

Please feel free to dig into the data as provided in the links below and the Council is happy to answer any questions that you may have. We are looking forward to once again utilizing the information gathered to strengthen the ties between the students, administration, teachers, and the greater Scotts Valley Community.

- The 2013-2014 Site Council.
