FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: Monday, August 21, 2017

We have had a few inquiries regarding student safety while construction personnel are on campus. Please read the following from Superintendent Tanya Krause:

"The construction firm, Overaa Construction, highly values safety. Overaa will place a fence barrier throughout the campus that separates not only the construction but the construction personnel from the students during the school year. Overaa has a handful of staff that have already gone through Live Scan and those employees will escort any individuals that need access to a part of the campus that requires interaction with students. Any escorting needs will be coordinated directly with Mary Lonhart. There is a daily gathering at 7:00 AM for all construction personnel and safety for the students will be a major topic of discussion. Additionally, any new personnel or visitors will check in at the Overaa trailer before accessing the site.

Please feel free to contact the school, or the Project Manager, his name is on all of the banners located at the SVMS site, with any construction related questions."

SVEF

sveflogo1.jpgSVEF Supporting Your Children from Kindergarten through Graduation!

Did you know that Scotts Valley Education Foundation is the only non-profit that supports Scotts Valley kids from the day they start school, up until the day they graduate?  SVEF currently pays to keep the school libraries open, provides GLAD training for teachers and school counselors for our kids. That's why it is so important to support SVEF through donations or volunteering.
